Mail about a dead relative's money split 60/40

I got a letter mailed to me at my work address, which was weird because they used my actual name. It was about some person with the same last name as me who supposedly died. They said there was USD $9.5 million and they wanted to split it 60/40 with me.

The letter was from a guy named [email protected] and the address on it was in Mississauga, Ontario. I've never heard of this person who died or anything about any money. It just doesn't make sense. They didn't ask for money upfront or anything, but it's obviously a scam. I just threw it away.
