Worked the job, then was asked for $400 to access my pay

I accepted what was presented to me as a legitimate remote job with Fanzup. I completed the training, attended meetings, had access to an administrative platform, processed the assigned transactions, documented my work, and communicated with managers through the company's system.

When it was time to be paid, the platform showed my work as paid and I was directed to access the payment through a cryptocurrency platform. A balance of 2,346 USDT was displayed in that account, but every attempt I made to withdraw the funds to external cryptocurrency accounts was canceled.

I contacted support to find out why I could not withdraw the money. I was then told that I had to complete an "external wallet verification" and that this required me to deposit an additional $400 in cryptocurrency, or fund the account from my own bank account or card, before I could withdraw the displayed funds.

I did not send the $400.

I also contacted the person who had been communicating with me regarding the job and informed her that my withdrawal attempts were being canceled. I did not receive an explanation resolving the issue.

I have retained screenshots of the administrative system, transaction records, communications, payment information, canceled withdrawal attempts, and the request for the additional $400. I have also reported the matter to the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3).

I am posting this review so that anyone considering a job opportunity involving Fanzup knows what happened to me and can make an informed decision before providing personal information, performing work, sending cryptocurrency, or paying money in order to receive purported earnings.

Job offer turned into a request for money to get paid

I got a job offer from this company and worked all my hours, up to 56 hours a week. When payday came around, I tried to get paid and they sent me to some cryptocurrency website to cash out my earnings.

They told me I needed to put in $400 before I could receive the deposit. I worked day and night for that paycheck and they wouldn't give it to me unless I paid them first. I never got my check.
