Call saying my identity bought a phone in DC

Got a call from someone saying they were with the FCC. They told me my identity was used to buy a phone at a Verizon store in Washington DC, and that phone was used for illegal stuff.

Then they said I had 2 hours to cooperate with them or every phone in my name would be permanently disconnected. That didn't make sense to me. I didn't buy any phone. I didn't give them any info. Just hung up.

The number they called from was (202) 409-7738.
