Phone call about wiping my debt for a fee

I got a call from these people saying they could wipe out my debt. They said the fee was $6997.00 and it would be charged to my credit card and then written off with everything else. I thought because federal was in their name it was legit. I was wrong.

I paid half of the fee, $3000.00, before I realized they were calling from Pakistan. They have nothing to do with our government. Their phone number is (234) 281-6430 and their email is [email protected]. I fell for it and now I'm out the money.
