Locksmith charged $504 with no quote ever given

I called FM Locksmith and talked to an employee who said she would transfer my call to a tech who would give me a quote. Then she hung up. I called back and was told the tech was dispatched, then he hung up. Still no quote for the cost of service.

The technician called when he got there and started working, still no quote. The work took 4 minutes, but the first call to get it done took 25 minutes. When he was finished he handed me a bill for $504.00.

That's more than 2x the going rate and I never got a quote from any of the 3 employees I talked to before those 4 minutes of work. I should have checked Ecautious.com first.
