Website looked like the real FMCSA site and took my $250

I clicked a Google link thinking I was on the government FMCSA site for my DOT renewal. The site looked and worked just like the real one so I didn't think anything of it. Went through the prompts and paid the $250 renewal fee.

Right after paying I got a prompt to give the Dakota Group authorization to my DOT information. That's when it hit me I wasn't on the government site at all.

I asked for a refund right away and they refused. I never got any service from them. Their phone is 1(302) 775-5839 and the email is [email protected].
