Text about my business name from a number tied to phishing

I got this text out of nowhere. It said, “Hey T******, this is Frank Cooper reaching out because there is an applicant trying to file for the same business name as yours, which is THREAD LOCAL 360. Are you still in commerce with this name?”

I didn't recognize the number so I looked it up and found complaints about it being a phishing scam. Same exact number. I didn't reply or call back. Just deleted it.

The message felt off. No company name, just a person's name. And the whole thing about my business name being taken? Didn't make sense to me. I'm glad I checked before doing anything.
