I asked for photos of the work site and he ignored that. Then he said he was currently out of state and wanted the job done before "we move in." No photos, no walkthrough, just an estimate sight unseen. That made no sense to me.
He gave the address 1624 Glen Keith Blvd, Towson, MD 21286. I looked it up and Maryland tax records show that property is owned by an investment LLC. Nobody named Frassa shows up anywhere in the ownership history, and the place is listed for sale right now. This has all the signs of the check overpayment thing where they send you a check for too much and ask you to refund the difference. No money changed hands here.
