Job offer asking for my ID picture and selfie
They wanted me to send pictures of my ID, front and back, plus a selfie of me holding it. I did it because I thought it was part of the hiring. But now I'm wondering why they needed all that. The email came from [email protected] and their address is 313 South St, Steubenville, OH.
I haven't lost any money but this feels off. I don't know if this is a real company or what. Just wanted to put this out there so nobody else does what I did.

I looked up the site to see if it was legit and it just wasn't. The address they gave is 313 South St in Steubenville Ohio. I called the number 1(740) 346-9079 and it just didn't make sense for a real company.
I didn't lose any money because I caught it before doing anything. But they really made it seem like a real job offer. Just want people to know about this.
