Paid for a kitten and now the transport company wants more money

I bought a kitten online from Jeff at jeffsiamesehome.com for $1050. I wired him the money and was supposed to get her the next day but I never got her and still don't have her. Now this transport company keeps calling me. I wired the breeder and then I wired the travel company another $2300 yesterday and they claim they still didn't get it. Wires are pretty much instant so that didn't make sense.

I was trying to run around on 7/29 to get the money to them by a certain time or they said they weren't going to send the kitten. They told me since I didn't get the kitten yesterday animal control is worried I can't afford to take care of her. Then this John from the airline transport company said he talked to animal control and they wanted $9000 but he explained the situation and they dropped it to $3000. At this point I think the breeder was a scam too. I wired him $1050 to have the kitten delivered and now he's MIA.
