Book print too small to read and return costs too much

I ordered a book and got it, but the print is so small you can't read it. I mean, it's basically useless to me. I contacted them about it and they said I could send it back to Germany at my own expense, or take a 40% refund and keep the book.

The thing is, the book was shipped from FL. The phone number on the contact is in CA, and the return address they gave me is in Germany. It just doesn't add up. I spent $45.95 on this and it's not what I expected at all. I found them through Facebook, and their email is [email protected]. I'm not sure what to do at this point.
