Half marathon race changed date and no permits

I signed up for a half marathon on their website. Closer to the date I emailed them to ask about bib pickup and the route because they had disappeared from the website. No answer at all.

Then the day before the race, the date and location had changed on the site. I went online and saw a bunch of other people saying they got scammed too. Some of them contacted the city to check for permits and there were none. I'm out $115.

Race entry paid for but event dates kept changing

I signed up and paid for the GLO Toronto race on May 29, 2026. The website is glotoronto.com. After I paid, they changed the event date a bunch of times. It was one date, then they moved it to another, and now it's supposed to be in October 2026.

Since I paid, I barely hear anything from them. I've tried asking for clarification but the responses I get are not helpful. I'm honestly worried this event isn't what it says it is and other people could lose their money too. I just want this looked at so others know what might happen.

I have proof of the payment, screenshots of the date changes, my registration confirmation, and the emails I sent them if anyone needs to see it.
