Vehicle buyer pushed a report site that stole my card info

I’m selling my car and someone contacted me about it. They asked a bunch of questions and then said they wanted me to pull a vehicle history report before they came to look at it. They gave me this website, globalvinhistory.com, and I went ahead and paid the $65.99 for it.

The report came back totally empty. That’s when I started thinking something was off. I looked into it more and realized this is just a way to grab your credit card number and take your money. I already called my bank and had my card canceled.

The phone number they used was (435) 922-5193 and the site lists an address in UT, but I don’t think any of it is real. Just wanted to put this out there so no one else falls for it.
