Email from someone claiming they found my resume online
They asked if I was looking for new employment and said they had a specific position they're hiring for. There was a link to apply and they told me to call, text, or email with questions. The email came from [email protected] and the phone number listed was (240) 998-1414.
The whole thing just seemed off to me. I never applied anywhere or gave anyone permission to contact me about a job. I didn't lose any money but I wanted to report it.

I never sent my resume to them. I don't know how they got my information. The message told me to check my email for details about the role and compensation. It also said to reply "remove" if I wasn't interested.
The phone number was (240) 998-1414. The email address they used was [email protected]. It just felt off to get a job offer out of the blue like that for a position I never applied to. I didn't lose any money but it was an unwanted contact.
