Counterfeit GE water filters with no RFID chip

I ordered from this site grefrigeratorfilters.com and got the filters today. They are supposed to be GE XWFE water filters but right away I could tell something was off. The label doesn't have the RFID chip in it at all.

I saw another guy reported the same thing on Aug 17, 2026. Same exact problem. These are counterfeit, plain and simple. I paid 75 dollars for these. Their email is [email protected] and the address on the site says 1009 2nd St, Sacramento, CA.

I tried calling the number they listed, (225) 258-7336, but I don't expect much. Just want people to stay away from these scammers.

Ordered a filter but got a counterfeit and weird receipt

I bought something from GRefrigeratorFilters.com and it was a total waste of money. I lost about $75.91 on this. The product they sent looks like the real brand but it's not. The label is almost identical to the genuine one but you can tell it's fake.

The weird part is the receipt I got in my email. The business name on it doesn't match the website at all. And the contact email is different too. The PayPal charge came from [email protected] which has nothing to do with the website. Their address is listed as 1009 2nd Street in Sacramento but who knows if that's even real. I just want people to know to stay away from this place.
