Loan approved but they wanted money for insurance first

I got a message saying I was approved for a loan but they needed me to deposit an insurance cost first. They said once that was repaid the loan funds would go into my account. They wanted me to pay through Apple Pay which seemed odd to me.

So I looked them up online and found out they are a scam. Their email was [email protected] and the phone number they gave was (916) 287-0239. I didn't send them anything but I wanted to warn others. The address they listed was Sacramento, CA but I don't trust any of it.
