Online purchase turned into endless money requests
Then they introduce a purchase task. The first one is cheap and simple, like $27. They actually pay that one out so you think it's legit. By the 12th task, the starting amount is $100. Same type of thing but then you randomly get selected to do another one that starts at $380. Once you do that, you miraculously get a third task asking for $1200 to make $480. They said once finished you can cash out and get $2354 total, plus a $500 bonus.
Something always goes wrong though. For me, it was an issue with the merchant not having the product listed anymore to complete the task. They just wanted more money deposited. I cut my losses at $1680. Very expensive lesson.
Job offer wanting me to assemble products at home
Something felt off about the whole thing. They really wanted me to start right away and kept talking about how I'd get paid after inspection. But that doesn't make sense to me. Why would I put in all that work and then just hope they decide to pay me? I didn't send them any money or anything but I'm pretty sure this is some kind of employment scam. Just wanted to put this out there so nobody else falls for it.
