Letter about free credit monitoring from HCI Active
The letter has two different addresses on it. One is HCI Active, 6011 University Boulevard Suite 400, Ellicott City, Maryland. The other one says Healthcare Interactive, Inc. c/o PO Box 1286, Dearborn, Michigan 48120-9998. They gave me a code to enter on their website to get free credit monitoring for twelve months. The website is https://bfs.cyberscout.com/activate and the phone number is 1(833) 855-4330.
It says I have 90 days from the letter to enroll and it shows a credit report too. I just don't understand why a letter about a data breach would be dated before the breach supposedly happened. It feels off to me.
