Job offer email turned out to be a fake

I got an email about a Payroll Clerks remote position that I was pretty sure I applied for. It looked legit so I answered back. Then when the person reached out again with a questionnaire I started noticing the first email seemed off.

I looked up the business on the Secretary of State website and called them. They had no idea who this Damon Holland guy was, the one claiming to be a Talent Acquisition Specialist. The email came from [email protected] and the website is infusionpoints.com. Phone number on it was (336) 990-0252. Good thing I didn't give them any money or info.
