Instagram ad that was really a subscription to nothing

I saw an ad on Instagram that looked like it was for a product. It said the membership gives you the option to purchase more products, but you can do that on Instagram or Amazon or anywhere else anyway. There was no company name on it.

I didn't know I was subscribing to anything when I fell for the sales ad. Total money lost was $500. The address shows Kaneohe, HI.

I just want to know how this is allowed. It is a subscription to nothing.
