Tax preparer used wrong address and bank account on my return
I reached out to him numerous times and got nothing. Finally I contacted the IRS myself to find out what was going on. They asked for a copy of my return which I didn't have at the time. When I printed it out I saw the address was wrong and the routing and checking account numbers were not mine either. I went to the IRS with my ID so they could release my funds and they told me the money may have gone to the preparer first and then was supposed to be sent to me. That never happened.
When I contacted Jamayal he kept lying to me. I trusted him because he's done taxes for several of my family members. I texted him several times asking for proof that my check was mailed by a bank that doesn't even exist and he won't respond. I want him held accountable for taking my money.
