Ad for a 1979 Dodge Charger that turned out to be a scam
I decided to hire a third-party company to go inspect the car before I sent any money. That seemed like the smart thing to do. But when the inspector tried to contact the seller, the phone number had been changed to (208) 679-8528. The original number I had was (208) 400-9588.
The whole thing just fell apart after that. The inspector couldn't get a hold of anyone and I never heard back either. Luckily I didn't lose any money because I didn't pay them yet, but it was a huge waste of time. The whole listing felt off after that.
