Investor John asked my wife for more money to get her payout

John approached my wife Maryann and said he was an investor. He told her he could make quick money for her if she invested with him. She gave him $25,000.

Then he said she had $700,000 waiting but she needed to pay $5,000 to Garda Company to deliver it. She paid that too. Now he wants another $2,075 for Garda to deliver the money. It just keeps going.

All together we lost $30,000. He keeps asking for more and the money never comes.
