Phone call about a new account and Zelle payments I never sent
Then he started asking about all my other online payment platforms. That felt strange. I asked him to verify he was really with JP Morgan and he told me it was my responsibility to verify his phone number. That was it for me.
Phone call saying someone opened a JP Morgan account in my name
The second caller tried to get me to send $2,000 to cancel the previous transactions. He kept saying "Don't give any personal information" and that they weren't going to ask for any, they were just going to walk me through the process. At no point did either caller mention my name, my address, or say what my phone number actually is.
The second caller also tried to claim all my information including my SSN had been compromised.
