Text about a job asking me to use Telegram

I got a text message from an email address, not a phone number, asking if I wanted a job. That was already kind of weird to me. The message said to get in contact with the organization I had to communicate through Telegram.

I didn't really understand why a real company would do that. Seemed off. I have the text message and the contact info saved. Just wanted to report this so others know.
