Phone call about a debt with no proof and a rude guy

They called me from (573) 298-6632 saying I had outstanding amounts and they exhausted all resources trying to reach me about a collection matter. Said there were several attempts by the creditor for me to respond. Then they said this was their attempt to get my attention before it was deemed a delivered attempt to evade the issue. They told me to contact Meghan Smith at 866-673-9570.

So I called that number and they said it was Legal. The gentleman was extremely rude. I asked for proof of the charge and he wouldn't give me any. He just said it would go to a process server. I hung up because he was so rude. Then he called me back and said there would be an additional fine because I admitted it was me on a recorded line. I told him I did no such thing and he hung up on me.
