Called about Priceline refund and lost 499 dollars
So I'm setting up my account and he's giving me weird dollar amounts to put in. He kept saying it wasn't actually taking money out, it was just codes to connect me with Priceline. He made me set up a username and password that they would need to send the refund. I ended up transferring $499 to his account before I realized something was off. I saw $99 go through and then $400 and I just hung up. I closed my Lemfi account right away and called my bank, but it was an instant transfer so they said they can't do anything. The number he called from was (613) 416-3141.
