Job offer from Magnesium Dev Team asked for my SSN
After that Emily, a hiring assistant, contacted me. I took a proficiency exam. Then Emily told me my application was selected for hiring. They sent me an offer letter to sign and return. Then they sent links for the employee portal and a Telegram app.
I was told to upload my personal information, like my Social Security number for I-9 verification. The address they used was 2851 Charlevoix Dr. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546 and the email was [email protected]. I didn't lose any money but something about the whole thing didn't feel right.
