Call about printer ink we never ordered

Someone called our business and asked for the owner by name. They said our location needed more printer ink for our specific printer model. The clerk who answered thought it was legit since they knew the owner's name and had the right printer info.

They asked for the clerk's name, then emailed an invoice saying the ink was on the way. We never authorized any of this.

The phone number was (714) 409-9055 and the email came from [email protected]. Address on it was 216 S Citrus St Suite 360, West Covina, CA 91791. They got $127 out of us for ink we didn't order.

Fake toner invoices from a company we never worked with

They keep contacting our restaurants to get names and then send invoices out for toners. We never ordered anything from them and we are not partners. They are not our supplier and we do not do business with them at all.

Their address is 216 S Citrus St Suite 360, West Covina, CA 91791. That address is a mailbox company, not a real office. Their phone number is (714) 409-9055 and the website is Managerselect.com. The email they use is [email protected].

We have lost $0 because we caught it, but they are still sending these fake invoices out to restaurants.
