Ordered carved birdhouses but got plastic ones instead
When I contacted them for a return I was told "the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Furthermore, according to our company's current policy, a 35% refund is the maximum amount that can be granted." Even though I was misled and certainly did not receive 3 hand carved items and I sent a photo of the AD AND a photo of their return policy which said nothing about paying for shipping OR a max refund. It's a total scam. Their website is themarlowmarket.com and email is [email protected]. I lost $134.85 on this.
Wooden birdhouses arrived but they were plastic
When the package finally came I opened it up and both birdhouses were exactly the same. They were plastic. Not wood at all. Just cheap plastic made to look like wood. I was pretty upset.
The return instructions said I had to ship them to some address in Guangzhou, China. That seemed weird. Also before the package even got to me, this person claiming to be the woodcarver texted me trying to sell me more birdhouses. That didn't make any sense either.
