Facebook ad for wooden birdhouses but got plastic ones
When the order arrived, it was 2 exactly alike plastic birdhouses. One of them even had the "punch out hole" still inside of the house. Definitely not the hand made, from wood, each unique houses I expected.
I emailed them, and like another reviewer said, they told me I could return them to Hong Kong, at my cost. And only 35% of the purchase would be refunded. I wish I would've checked the reviews first. Don't buy ANYTHING from this joke of a business.
Plastic birdhouses sold as hand carved wood
They were not wood. They were not hand-carved. They were PLASTIC cheap molds with stain poured on in a sloppy manner. These were NOT "among the last wood spirits he will ever carve". As long as the molds hold out and they have plastic to extrude there will be unlimited one-of-a-kind houses shipped.
I am betting that Amos Hensley from ***********, North Carolina does not exist and does not look like the carver in the photo. We lost 71.91 dollars on this.
Birdhouse ad was a lie and it's a scam
What showed up was a cheap plastic thing that came from Illinois but looked like it was from China. Not hand carved at all. So I emailed them right away, like minutes after I got the package, asking for a refund because they said 30 day no questions asked returns with free shipping.
They wrote back saying they have a new policy now. 33% restocking fee and I have to ship it to China on my own dime before they even think about a refund. Total bait and switch. The website is marlowmarketco.com and they listed an address as just "GD" which isn't even a real place. Complete scam.
Birdhouse arrived as cheap plastic not handmade wood
Well, they showed up and it's all cheap thin plastic. Not wood at all. Not handmade. And one of them literally fell apart the same day I took it out of the box. I spent 43 bucks on this and it's basically junk. The website made it seem like a local craftsman was making these. Total lie.
Birdhouse said handcarved but it's plastic and cheap
It's also way smaller than the pictures make it look. I wouldn't give this thing to anyone, let alone my dad. Probably going in the trash honestly. I tried to figure out where it even came from but the addresses don't make sense - I saw UK, Florida, and China listed in different places. Their email is [email protected] but I haven't bothered contacting them. What's the point. Just a big disappointment all around.
Birdhouse website sent plastic instead of handcarved
What showed up was a cheap plastic birdhouse. It even had a made in China sticker on the bottom. I emailed them at [email protected] but nobody ever wrote back. Just feels like a total rip-off.
Plastic cat scratcher sold as hand carved wood
After about a week I started getting suspicious because I couldn't track my order at all. When it finally showed up, it was just a piece of plastic molded into a cat shape. Not wood, not hand carved.
I contacted them about returning it and they said they'd give me 25% back or I could ship it to China. This website should be taken down so nobody else gets ripped off.
