Call saying someone charged $800 to my account in Texas

Some guy called me saying his name was Sam Edwards and that he works for Mastercard. He told me someone charged 800 dollars to my account from Texas. Then he wanted more information from me so he could take it off my account.

I called my bank and they said no charges were made to my account. They said it was probably a scam. So I'm letting you know.

He called 3 times from 1-203-584-7254.
