Letter asking for insurance info for ambulance ride my father never took

I got a letter asking for my father's insurance information so they could bill for an ambulance transport. My father did not use them at all in 2026. I asked where the transport was to and they wouldn't answer me. I asked how they got my father's information and they said they ran a database. So they are looking for elderly people and trying to collect insurance info to bill for something they are not providing. It's a scam. They also will never provide any information. They ask for SS information and medical information.
