Site took three cards before we realized it was fake

My wife was trying to buy a doll online, one of those Melissa and Doug ones. She found it cheaper on this site that looked like it was the real brand, melissaanddougsell.com.

Anyway, she put in her credit card info and the site said it couldn't take that information. So she tried another card, same thing. Then a third one. After that we both got suspicious and stopped.

Good thing we didn't lose any money but it was a pain to have to go check all our accounts after. She just wanted a doll for our niece.

Website took my card info but said not accepted

I found this site melissaanddougsell.com and it looked legit enough. I put in my debit card to pay for something and it came back saying "this card type is not accepted." So I figured maybe it was a fluke and tried another card. Same thing happened again.

No money has been taken off yet, but I did type in my card details on there. That's what bothers me. They got my info even if the payment didn't go through. I don't know what they're going to do with it. Just wanted to put this out there so other people know.

Fake website selling Melissa and Doug toys

I found this website, melissaanddougsell.com, and thought it was the real Melissa and Doug store. They had toys on sale and I almost put my credit card info in. Something felt off though so I stopped and looked closer. This site is pretending to be the actual toy company. It's a scam to get your card information. I didn't lose any money because I caught it in time but I wanted to report it. The real company has nothing to do with this fake site. Be careful if you see this link anywhere because it looks pretty legit at first glance.
