Facebook video ad led me to a fake product website
So I went to the website, memopryl.com, and ordered. It was $174. The site looked fine, had an address in Aurora, CO and everything. They even sent a confirmation email from [email protected].
The product came and it was totally fake. Not what was described at all, just cheap junk. I tried to email them back but no reply. The phone number on the site, (323) 286-4982, just rings and rings. I feel stupid for falling for it but the video was convincing. Just want people to know.
Bill Gates video ad for Alzheimer’s pills turned out to be a scam
Right after I did it I realized I made a mistake and tried to cancel. They gave me a different phone number to call, 323-372-9337, not the one on the website which is 323-286-4982. I called that number and nobody ever picks up. They just say they are always out of the office.
I spent 642 dollars on this. The website is memopryl.com and the address they list is 19655 E 35th Drive Suite 100, Aurora, CO 80011. I even tried emailing [email protected] but no luck. I just want my money back but I can't get ahold of anyone.
