Refund call about 850 dollars I never got
He kept saying I needed to confirm some stuff but it didn't make any sense. They also sent me an email from [email protected] which looked kind of off to me. I never got any refund or anything like that.
The whole thing felt strange. They are supposedly located in WA, USA. I just hung up because I didn't trust it. I didn't lose any money but it was a weird call to get out of nowhere.
Calls about an $850 refund that might not be real
They call from a few different numbers like 520-314-4785, 928-438-8626, and 928-396-1474. They say they are from the backend review and want me to email them my statement summary page to prove we haven't gotten the credit yet. They also sent an email from [email protected].
I called my actual credit card processor and my sales rep. They said no one from their side reaches out to businesses about a PCI overcharge. So I'm not sure who these people really are or what they want with my statements.
Keeps calling our business asking for merchant statement
They are very persistent. We have declined to give them any info every single time. It's just the same thing over and over again. I don't know why they won't stop.
Call about a rebate that should have been on our statement
They asked me to email our statement to [email protected] with the case number in the subject line. They also asked what address the email would be coming from. I told them our email crashed and I needed to wait a moment, so they said I could fax it instead.
I haven't sent anything yet. Just seemed off to me.
Phone call about a Discover settlement I never got
The number was (202) 449-4693 and the email they sent was from [email protected]. They have an address in Forest Grove, OR. I didn’t lose any money to them, but it just didn’t sit right. I never asked for this and they wouldn’t give me a straight answer.
Call about $850 back payment for fees we never owed
She asked me to email a copy of our June online statement to [email protected] so they could prove the credit wasn't on there. I'm the admin so I was handling it, and when I suggested she talk to our accountant she said it was fine since I had access. Something felt off about the whole thing.
