Call about overbilling on our Square account

Our business got a call today, Sept. 4th at 9:24 in the morning. A woman named Mckenzie called from 945-348-4256 saying she was from Merchant Services, a credit card processing company. She said we had been overbilled on our squareup.com site for the last three months of processing fees. She wanted us to send our August statement while she stayed on the phone so she could give us a confirmation number.

She told us to email the statement to [email protected] and put attention Mckenzie on it. I looked up that email address real quick and found it linked to scams on Ecautious.com. I did not send anything or call her back. I just changed my Square password instead.
