Job offer from Merge Medicals turned out to be a scam

I put my resume up on Work In Texas and this guy named Gopi Krishna from Merge Medicals contacted me about a Remote Data Analyst/Customer Service job paying $30 an hour. Sounded good at first but when I asked for a phone number to talk he wouldn't give me one. Instead he sent me to someone named Elsa Gudmund who was supposed to be the HR manager for a Zoom chat. It wasn't even a video call, just the chat box. The code was MM-15.

The zoom link they gave me had an email [email protected] as the ID which I thought was weird. Then they asked for my zoom id when I didn't go through with it. I asked for their website and he gave me www.mergemed.com but it just redirects to the same page. Something felt off so I looked them up on the BBB and found a phone number. I called and the person said they don't have an HR office and are not hiring. He said several other people have contacted his director about this and it's a scam. He said he would contact Work In Texas about it. His number is (312) 513-2477. I forget his name but he said he was the CEO working from home.
