Fair game added a dollar surcharge after card tap

We were at the Midland County fair and stopped at one of the gaming vendors. The game manager told us the game was $10 and that we could pay with our credit card. So we tapped the card and right when the transaction started I asked to see the screen to check the amount. That's when they told us there was a dollar surcharge.

That info should have been posted or said before we even tapped. I feel like this is a deceptive practice. They need to train their employees better and show the surcharge price right next to the game prices. I never got my dollar back.
