Job offer call ended with my ID taken

Got a call about a job offer, seemed legit at first. The person on the phone claimed to be from HR, sounded like they might be Asian decent but honestly who knows. They asked for my ID details and I gave them up.

Ended up realizing it was fake after I looked into it more. They have a website and email but it all feels off now. The number they called from was (816) 683-3784 and the email was [email protected].

I didn't lose any money but I'm worried about what they can do with my information. Just wanted to put this out there so nobody else falls for it.

Job offer asked for my ID and pictures

Someone called me from 1(901) 593-2107 offering a remote job as a package verifier. Sounded legit at first, they had a website and everything. They asked me to send pictures of myself and my ID.

I didn't send anything because it felt weird. Why would they need a picture of me for a package verifier job? They emailed me from [email protected] and the site is midstatefreightusa.com. I just hung up. No way I'm sending my ID to strangers.
