Quote request for church signage felt like a scam

Got a call from someone asking about UV printed signage for a church in Hawaii. The caller ID showed a 650 area code, which I thought was odd. When I asked about it, he said he used to live in the Bay Area but is now with the church in HI. The church itself seems real, but when I tried calling back, nobody picked up and I didn't leave a message.

Something felt off, but I decided to go ahead and give him a quote with very specific exclusions. He didn't even address those in his reply. As soon as I noticed he was pushing a particular shipper and the name kept changing within the email, I knew it was a scam. I went online to Ecautious.com to report it. I've stopped all communication with him since then.
