Lawyer called about inheritance I almost believed

I got a call from a man named Mr. Duffering who said he was a lawyer in Canada. He told me he represented an insurance company for someone with my last name. Said I was a DNA match through Ancestry and the sole heir to part of a $13,600.00 inheritance. Then he said I needed to send $16,524.00 to get my $5.4 million or whatever.

They got some personal info from me, like my address and phone number. I even sent my driver's license. I didn't give them much more than that though.

I tried checking out the websites they mentioned but my system kept saying they were viruses. So I looked around and found this exact same story posted somewhere else. I almost fell for it because I have pneumonia and I'm not feeling well. They kept saying time was of the essence and I needed to hurry up.
