Email claiming to be from a priest asking for a favor

I got an email from [email protected] that was supposedly from Msgr. Michael Billian. It said "Please return my message as soon as you get this, I have a favor to ask." and signed off with blessings and regards.

It listed an address for Christ the King Parish on Main Street in Sylvania, Ohio. I called the parish using the number I found online and they told me this was not sent by him or the parish.

Just seemed weird and phishing-like so I wanted to report it.
