Rescue site asking for $250 and photos of my house

I’ve been looking to adopt another pet and keep seeing this rescue called Mutts N Such on a bunch of adoption sites. They use AI generated pictures of cats and dogs, which I figured out pretty quick. Their website makes you fill out this super long and invasive questionnaire. They want actual photos of your yard and house, plus pictures of your current pets. Smart move, I guess, because then they get a bunch of free dog and cat photos to feed into their AI for new listings.

Then you pay $250 and in the payment comments you have to specify which animal you want. Their address is just a PO box in Keller, TX. That’s suspicious. Wouldn’t a real rescue want people to be able to visit? And why are all the animals only available for delivery?

I can totally see someone’s older parents falling for this and thinking they’re adopting from a legit rescue. They’d hand over all their personal info, pictures of their home, and lose $250. It’s just phishing for data and money.
