Instagram IQ test ad led to charges on my card

I took one of those short IQ tests from an Instagram ad that popped up. It said to get my results it cost $1. I figured what's a dollar. I paid and they showed me my results. Next thing I know I'm getting fraud alert texts from my bank a week later.

MyIQ.com/us tried charging my card $66.00 on Sept 29, $44.99 on Oct 1 and again for $44.99 on Oct 1 at 2:11 a.m. That was weird because where I live it was still Sept 30 at 11:11pm. Not sure if they're in a different time zone from me in Vancouver or what that means. Either way I did not authorize any payment except the $1 for my results. I contacted my bank and canceled my card and left a review at Trustpilot.

There really has to be more done about online fraud. It's only going to get worse. I hope this helps someone.
