Letter about dead client's money with no real law office
Because my last name is the same as their client's, they wanted me to be a beneficiary. The deal was 10% going to charity and the rest split between me and the law office. It just didn't feel right. I did a quick search on the website they listed, www.mzlegaloffice.com, and found out this is a known scam. The phone number on it was 1(226) 640-3965 and the address was 3660 Hurontario Street Suite 604 in Mississauga. They even had an email, [email protected]. I didn't lose any money, but I wanted to put this out there so nobody else falls for it.
