Call saying I owe money about a case I never heard of

Got a call from someone named Fred saying he was from National Document Services. He said there was a pending case in their office with my name on it and gave some reference number 788-110. Then he said a complaint was filed and they were getting documents ready to send out, and I needed to be home to sign for them.

He kept saying if they couldn't reach me at home they'd try my job. And that I needed to call them back at 866-709-7419 to stop further action. Also said the call was being recorded as proof they tried to notify me. I never heard of any of this before. Didn't sound right to me.

Voicemail saying I need to sign for documents

I got this voicemail on my phone. It was for Heather Williams, which isn't even my name. The guy said his name was Wayne Cooper from National Document Services. He kept going on about a case number, first he said 779482 then corrected it to 779402. Something about a complaint filed and documents being prepared to be sent out. Said I needed to be available to sign for delivery. Then he said if they can't reach me at home they'll try my job. To stop further action I need to call 866-709-7419. He said the call was logged and recorded as proof. It just felt really off. No real company does stuff like this. I didn't call the number back. I don't know what they wanted but this is clearly a phishing thing.
