Phone call saying they were national document services

Got a call from (862) 284-9579. The guy said he was with something called national document services. He kept trying to get me to say yes, asking if I was the person he was naming. He never said why he was calling, just kept asking if I was that name.

I told him I couldn't help him and hung up. The number shows Bartsville, OK. Didn't lose any money but it felt like he was just trying to get me to confirm my name or say yes on the phone.

Voicemail about legal documents and my job from National Document Services

I got a call from a company called National Document Services. They left a detailed voicemail saying legal documents were about to be sent to my home address and/or my place of employment if I didn't call them back at 888-499-2044. But the caller ID showed a number from TN, which didn't match up.

It started as a bot that called, then a person followed up with a threat. The rep's name was Rico. I don't know what this is about and I haven't gotten any proof of anything.

Call saying I owe money about a case I never heard of

Got a call from someone named Fred saying he was from National Document Services. He said there was a pending case in their office with my name on it and gave some reference number 788-110. Then he said a complaint was filed and they were getting documents ready to send out, and I needed to be home to sign for them.

He kept saying if they couldn't reach me at home they'd try my job. And that I needed to call them back at 866-709-7419 to stop further action. Also said the call was being recorded as proof they tried to notify me. I never heard of any of this before. Didn't sound right to me.

Voicemail saying I need to sign for documents

I got this voicemail on my phone. It was for Heather Williams, which isn't even my name. The guy said his name was Wayne Cooper from National Document Services. He kept going on about a case number, first he said 779482 then corrected it to 779402. Something about a complaint filed and documents being prepared to be sent out. Said I needed to be available to sign for delivery. Then he said if they can't reach me at home they'll try my job. To stop further action I need to call 866-709-7419. He said the call was logged and recorded as proof. It just felt really off. No real company does stuff like this. I didn't call the number back. I don't know what they wanted but this is clearly a phishing thing.
