Call about old ACE Cash Express debt that I don't owe
That didn't sit right with me so I called ACE Cash Express myself and they said I have no outstanding loans with them. I also checked with the Davidson County Clerk and there's no civil suit pending against me either. The guy also sent me an email from [email protected] but I don't trust any of it. They're trying to collect on something that just isn't real.
They threatened to garnish my wages over the phone
But after I hung up I started thinking about it and something just felt off. So I did some research on them and everything I found points to this being a total scam. I called the number back at (938) 214-7590 and the email they gave me was [email protected]. They are supposedly located in Russellville, AL. I'm glad I didn't lose any money yet but I'm still worried about what they might do with my info.
