Someone called saying a courier was coming with a sealed notice

I got a call from (972) 895-2909 about a "sealed Dunning notice" that was supposedly scheduled for delivery to my address between 1 and 3 p.m. They said if I wasn't home the courier would go to my place of employment and I'd have to show photo ID.

The whole thing was strange. They said if I had questions or needed to reschedule I should contact the filing party at 585 250-7522. No company name was given other than "nationwide processing services."

It felt like a debt collection scare tactic. I don't owe anything and no proof of any debt was provided.
