Door to door magazine salesman took my cash and never came back

A guy named Marcel M came to my door selling magazines. He said it was for underprivileged individuals and that he was with New Beginnings Connection. He told me he was registered with the county to sell door to door and showed me something as proof. I picked a magazine and paid him $75 in cash. He gave me a receipt.

The magazines never showed up. I tried calling the number he gave me, (314) 326-9949, and it goes straight to voicemail every time. There's no way to reach anyone at this organization. I'm out $75 and just want someone to know about this.
